Storage

Keep refrigerated. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not exceed the use by date. Suitable for freezing. Freeze before use by date and consume within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Defrost in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.

Oven cook

FROM CHILLED: Time: 35 mins Temperature: 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 6 Preheat oven. Remove pouches from outer packaging and place sachet of sauce to one side. Empty contents of meat pouch into an ovenproof dish and cover with lid or foil. Place on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 30 mins. Remove from the oven and discard the cooking juices. Shred the meat using two forks. Pour the sachet of sauce over the meat and mix well. Return to the oven and cook for a further 5 mins.

Microwave

FROM CHILLED: 750 watt: 6 mins 850 watt: 5 1/2 mins Remove pouches from outer packaging and place sauce sachet to one side. Place meat pouch on a microwaveable plate and pierce several times. Microwave on full power for 3 mins. Remove from the microwave and shake gently from side to side. Cook on full power for a further 2 mins (750W), 1 1/2 mins (850W). Remove meat from the pouch and discard the cooking juices. Shred the meat using two forks. Pour the sachet of sauce over the meat and mix well. Place back in the microwave for 1 min. Leave to stand for 1 min before serving.
